Silent Auction

MORE ITEMS COMING IN DAILY SO KEEP CHECKING BACK FOR GREAT DEALS AND GREAT CAUSE!

Welcome to the Brad Kaminsky Foundation Annual Heroes of Hope on line Silent Auction Area.

On Saturday, February 28, 2009 and Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Lansdowne Resort, we will be hosting our Annual Heroes of Hope Monte Carlo and Golf Tournament Silent Auctions.

The Silent Auction for Monte Carlo runs from 6pm to 10pm and the Golf Tournament Silent Auction runs from 3pm to 8pm. At the end of the auction the person with the highest bid price will win the auction item. You do not need to be present to win as long as your name, phone number, address and e-mail are available.

All bids are binding and should you win, you will be held responsible for purchasing the item at the price you bid. Remember 100% of the price you pay for the item will be directly donated to help find a cure for brain tumors, now the leading cause of cancer death in children and young men under the age of 39. So please keep in mind that your bidding is helping people. Do not bid if you are not serious about buying the items.

Below is a list of all items up for Silent Auction. Pictures of the items are available upon request. The description of the item is next to (or below) each item on the auction.

Prior to the items description, you will see the items value and the starting bid on the item and the raise bid amount. Please be sure that your bid is in increments of the raise bid amount. For example: If the raise bid is $10 on an item that starts at $50. You may bid, $60, $70, $80 etc. Please do not bid $55.

Please determine which item(s) you would like to bid on and then submit and e-mail to me stating the item(s) with your maximum bid amount. I will cut off all on line bids for the Monte Carlo Auction at 8pm on Friday, February 27th, 2009. I will take all the maximum bids to the actual silent auction on Saturday, February 28, 2009 and make them the new starting bids. If your bid is not outbid on Saturday, February 28, 2009, you will be contacted as the winner on Sunday or Monday, March 1 or 2, 2009 and asked to send check for your maximum bid amount. If you are not contacted, it means someone outbid your maximum bid at the actual auction event. You may feel free to contact me via e-mail to find out what the actual bid ended up being if you are curious.

I will cut off all on line bids for the Golf Tournament at 8pm on Friday, April 24th, 2009. I will take all the maximum bids to the actual silent auction on Saturday, April 25, 2009 and make them the new starting bids. If your bid is not outbid on Saturday, April 25, 2009, you will be contacted as the winner on Sunday or Monday, April 26 or 27, 2009 and asked to send check for your maximum bid amount. If you are not contacted, it means someone outbid your maximum bid at the actual auction event. You may feel free to contact me via e-mail to find out what the actual bid ended up being if you are curious.

The purpose of this auction is to allow people who cannot be at the actual Monte Carlo or Golf Tournament auctions the chance to bid on items. Last year we had people who really wanted items. For example, we had a Joe Paterno autographed picture. (valuable to Penn Staters) Someone e-mailed me and said they would pay up to $175 for the photo. They were the highest bidder and that photo was delivered to them promptly on Monday after the event. That is what inspired this idea to allow people from all over to bid on items even if they can not attend. So, please remember the great cause here and Bid Away!!!

Our Silent Auction for 2008 was a HUGE success on Saturday April 26, 2008, helping us raise over $8500 toward brain tumor research.

AS WE RECEIVE AUCTION ITEMS TO POST WE WILL LET YOU KNOW.

Please open .PDF and review auction items for 2009

If you cannot attend the auction, you can submit your maximum bid by Friday 4/24/09 at 9pm.

Instructions are included on the .PDF.
